    Shenzhen releases various policies for the sci-tech innovation and professionals’ development

    According to the news conference held by the News Office of The People’s Government of Shenzhen Municipality, Shenzhen releases a series of policies, to optimize the ecology and conditions of scientific innovation and professionals’ development, so as to promote over-10% growth of the society’s investment in research and development and further advocate enterprises’ leading role in sci-tech innovation.Shenzhen is about to set up 10-billion-yuan-worth industry fund, to support artificial intelligence industry and robot industry, especially to facilitate the development of AI software, AI hardware, embodied intelligence, etc. In 2025, Shenzhen would strive to collect 4.5-billion-yuan worth of funds, for releasing coupons to cut enterprises’ spending in using intelligent computing, models and corpora, subsidizing the scenario application, supporting the sci-tech research, and the like. An enterprise could obtain a subsidy/subsidies of no more than 60% of its cost in using intelligent computing and no more than 10 million yuan totally. The application is scheduled to commence from March.Shenzhen, for the past consecutive 12 years, has implemented 7-day free housing policy to offer every fresh graduate who is seeking employment in Shenzhen free accommodation for 7 days. The term of the free accommodation would be prolonged to 15 days soon.
