The launch marks the start of a new chapter for Shenzhen's low-altitude economy, featuring in-depth coordination between industrial and talent chains and integrated development across the whole industrial chain.Nine leading enterprises jointly set up the consortium to address major challenges such as fragmented industrial resources, a talent supply-demand mismatch and inadequate industry-education integration in the low-altitude economy sector. It will foster a new ecosystem combining manufacturing with human resource services and featuring a full-cycle model spanning manufacturing, vocational training, professional certification and employment.The consortium has rolled out a host of innovative initiatives. Leveraging Global Eagle as a core hub, it will establish databases for talent pools and enterprise recruitment demands and offer business incubation services. Improved Urban FunctionalityLonggang District has significantly accelerated the development of its transportation infrastructure. Phase IV of Metro Line 3 is operational, while Phase II of Line 16 has been fully electrified. Four Phase V metro lines, including the highly anticipated Phase I of Line 17, have been under construction. The surface-level section of the Huizhou–Shenzhen Expressway expansion has been largely completed, greatly enhancing regional connectivity. In addition, 91.7 kilometers of non-motor lanes have been established, and 48 feeder transit routes have been added or upgraded to improve access to the metro network.Public utilities and urban infrastructure see steady improvement. The expansion and advanced treatment upgrade of the Longgang Central Water Plant has been successfully completed. The Siming Substation has been completed and put into operation, and an additional 12 square kilometers of urban area has been up to national sponge-city standards.Longgang District has made remarkable progress in building a smart city. A new model has been launched to integrate district-level data infrastructure with unified data asset. The district's City Information Modeling (CIM) platform has been constructed initially. The "Longzhengtu" mobile app, part of the information management system, has been officially rolled out to improve urban governance efficiency. Longgang District also introduces the “LongXiao-i” AI application matrix and pioneers the establishment of an AI algorithm training base, which is recognized as a model scenario for AI application in Guangdong Province.Longgang continues to lay a solid foundation for public safety and social stability. The district ranks second across Shenzhen in the city’s safety performance. More efforts have been made to have safety inspections in the high-risk sectors, involving the traffic and transportation, construction, and fire prevention. The newly established District Dispute Mediation and Service Center enhances grassroots conflict resolution capabilities. Notably, Longgang District’s innovative case that applies an integrated “Four-Governance” model to address difficulties in resolving marital and family disputes has been recognized as a national model case under the “Fengqiao Experience” of the new era.
