A robot-assisted agriculture tour was launched at the world's first robot 6S store at WORLD · COCO Park in Longgang district, on March 1.
Rooted in the local butterfly orchid industry, the event blends traditional Chinese culture with artificial intelligence to explore new ways of advancing agriculture through technology.
As the venue, the robot 6S store serves as a landmark platform for the robot industry to move from labs to the market and from technical concepts to everyday life, offering visitors a glimpse into cutting-edge technology.
The event featured robot shows, human-robot interactions, and flower charity auctions. Robots served as science ambassadors, introducing orchid varieties and care tips and judging floral design works. Residents also joined the charity auction and posed for photos with the robots.
Building on an earlier charity flower-giving campaign, the tour marks another innovative practice under Longgang's "agriculture-plus" initiative. The two-week event will rotate through commercial areas and parks, bringing residents closer to tech-enabled agriculture.
