A cross-border e-commerce novice turned her startup dream into $500,000 in annual sales, tapping into the strong industrial resources of the Mosaic Center in Bantian subdistrict, Longgang district.

Jin Jingji moved into the park in November 2024 with little prior industry know‑how. She launched her store on TikTok US selling outdoor products and navigated multiple hurdles, including shifting platform policies, rising tariffs and unreliable suppliers.

"Networking with peers opens doors to new opportunities," Jin said.

A key boost came in early September when Shenzhen's first Cross‑border E‑commerce Service Hub was launched at the Mosaic Center. The hub provides entrepreneurs in the park with easy access to tax, legal and policy guidance.

Known as China's top‑ranked district for cross‑border e‑commerce, Longgang is home to around 11.7 percent of the country's cross‑border e‑commerce firms. One in every four cross‑border e‑commerce orders nationwide originates from the district.

Housing more than 1,000 cross‑border enterprises, the Mosaic Center boasts a 98 percent occupancy rate, with management helping tenants connect with potential business partners. Jin is now building her own brand and plans to run her long‑term venture from the park.
