The 4th Shenzhen International Optical Fair & Inaugural 2026 Artificial Intelligence Eyewear Exhibition Wows Attendees. Longgang Eyewear has long stood as a golden hallmark of Made in Shenzhen and an indispensable backbone of the global eyewear sector. Longgang assembled a delegation of 58 premium enterprises to take part in the fair, forming the exhibition's largest industrial contingent, boasting the most complete industrial chain supporting capabilities. Robust supply chain prowess underpins Longgang Eyewear's core competitive edge in global expansion. Within a 10-minute drive, businesses gain full access to the entire industrial chain, spanning design, mold development, component production, finished goods manufacturing, quality inspection, and marketing. Sourcing high-end raw materials and performing core processing procedures can all be done within Shenzhen's city limits.Cutting-edge design capacity has emerged as a key engine powering Longgang Eyewear's market breakthrough. Home to the country's first intellectual property protection workstation dedicated to the eyewear sector, Longgang has registered more than 2,000 copyrights and completed over 3,000 trademark and patent searches to date. The district has hosted ten consecutive editions of its Eyewear Designer Awards program, nurturing a wealth of original designs. AI eyewear gains momentum.Grace Elegance partnered with Douya Vision to develop an AI-assisted smart eyewear device for the visually impaired, equipped with full-scenario auxiliary functions including object recognition, daily mobility navigation and text reading. The product claimed the Annual Pioneer Innovation Award for Smart Eyewear and is slated for official launch this September.Longgang's push for smart upgrading has extended to customer service workflows. Huiming Optical has rolled out the eyekuAI Intelligent Optometry Space Cabin, slashing the traditional optometry process to just 15 to 20 minutes. Capitalizing on robotic arm interaction and AI algorithms, the cabin delivers fully automated optometry services, with finished spectacles delivered to customers' doorsteps following online orders. Longgang's solid industrial foundation has cultivated fertile ground for the growth of AI eyewear. A public computing power pool, independently built by state-owned enterprises in Longgang district, now exceeds 20,000 petaFLOPS, substantially cutting costs for smart eyewear firms engaged in model training and optical vision algorithm research and development.
