A restaurant where robots handle everything from greeting guests to cooking and serving has become Shenzhen's newest attraction since opening during the May Day holiday in Longgang district.The three welcoming robots at the "WALL-E and EVA" human-robot collaborative restaurant.The "WALL-E and EVA" human-robot collaborative restaurant, located in the world's first robot 6S store, deploys over a dozen robots performing distinct roles.Humanoid robots welcome diners at the entrance and even dance on request, while a robotic chef stir-fries dishes on a programmed routine as human assistants prepare ingredients. Wheeled robots then transport meals to tables, where server robots deliver them to customers."The food tastes especially good because a robot made it," said Shell, a tourist visiting from the United Kingdom.A robot at the "WALL-E and EVA" human-robot collaborative restaurant serves dishes to customers.The restaurant is part of Longgang's broader push to build China's first "embodied intelligent robot demonstration block" in the Bantian GALAXY WORLD area.The district has already established the world's first AI 6S store and robot 6S store, alongside robot retail and unmanned food delivery services, forming an integrated tech-driven consumption ecosystem.The restaurant has been operating at full capacity since its launch. Operators say they aim to develop fully autonomous robot-run dining establishments in the future as the technology matures.

Bantian Handmade-Culture Street

Bantian Handmade-Culture Street locates in Nankeng Community, Bantian Street, Longgang District of Shenzhen. It was built in 2008, and renovated and upgraded in 2022. In the style of Huizhou architecture, it is 770 meters long in total,and covers a land of 26,000 square meters. Total building area is more than 27,000 square meters. It is the only street in Longgang District with the theme of handcrafted culture. And, it is Shenzhen’s fifth street, after Zhongying Street, Shekou Old Street, Dongmen Old Street and Huaqiangbei Street.

Three attractions in Longgang District are introduced and recommended in the brochures distributed at the 20th ICIF.They are Dafen Oil Painting Village, School of Twenty-four Histories, and Gankeng Ancient Town. It is one of China’s largest oil painting production and trading base. It’s of global significance for oil painting transaction. It is estimated that over 1,000,000 pieces of oil paintings are produced and sold at Dafen Oil Painting Village and it earns a foreign exchange value of over 30,000,000 yuan through exporting oil paintings. Covering 180,000 square meters, it is a cultural and scenic spot, maintaining various Hakka buildings, Hakka folks and customs, Hakka food and natural scenery.

Longcheng SquareLongcheng Square is the central civic square of Longgang District. It was designed by famous sculptor Han Meilin. It covers approximately 50,000 square meters and besides leisure space of various themes, it also has a theater, a concert hall, an exhibition hall, a library, a bookstore, etc. It is a cultural landmark of Longgang District. The “Red Cube” is composed of the Public Art Museum, Children’s Palace, Science and Technology Museum and Shenzhen Longgang Book City. Covering an area of over 25,000 square meters, it is a new cultural landmark of Longgang District.

Longgang RiverAs the Longgang’s “Mother River,” Longgang River carries a lot of memories of Longgang residents. It used to be dirty but now clean after years of treatment.
