A free magic and acrobatics show will be held at Ronghu Plaza in Longgang district, Shenzhen, from 4 pm to 5:30 pm on Oct 25.

The event is the fourth installment of the 2026 "Art Blind Box" series, following previous shows at Universiade Tiandi, Longgang Children's Park and Longgang Vanke Plaza. It is open to the public free of charge with no reservation required.

At the event, performers dressed as characters from "Journey to the West" will appear, including the Monkey King, Pigsy, Sandy and Tang Sanzang. The Monkey King will demonstrate staff skills and invite audience members to learn. The magic segments will feature classic close-up tricks involving silk scarves, playing cards and metal rings, as well as a traditional Sichuan opera face-changing performance and large-scale stage illusions.

A magic mini-class will also be held, where magicians will teach participants simple tricks and give away magic props. Next to the stage, an "unexpected harvest" blind box wall will offer cultural and creative items, keychains and shopping coupons.

The "Art Blind Box" series is a public cultural initiative in Longgang, bringing various art forms to commercial areas and public spaces across the district.
