Three Guangdong-based private enterprises have secured spots in the top 10 of the 2026 China Top 500 Private Enterprises list, which was unveiled by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce (ACFIC) in Tianjin on Sept 22.

Regarded as a benchmark ranking of China's private economy, the annual list ranks firms by operating revenue, drawing entries from over 6,350 qualified large private businesses nationwide. Huawei, BYD and Tencent claimed the fourth, fifth and sixth positions, respectively.

Their top-tier rankings reflect Guangdong's strength in hi-tech and digital industries. Headquartered in the province, Huawei, BYD and Tencent are global pioneers in information and communications technology, new energy vehicle and digital services. Their sustained growth has become a key engine powering the region's vibrant private sector and innovation ecosystem.
