The eighth LadyGo charity run, combining recreational sports with charity initiatives, called for greater social attention to be paid to women's physical and mental health and girls' athletic development.

The event was held at Longgang Children's Park on Sept 13, drawing more than 400 female runners and their family members.

Local guests from various institutions and organizations in Longgang district attended and jointly launched the charity donation ceremony. Funds raised through the event willgo directly to support families grappling with breast-cancer-related medical expenses.

The event featured two categories: a competitive team relay for professional female runners and a girls' fun run suitable for children and their parents. Every finisher received a specially designed necklace in tribute to women's resilience.

Prior to the race, participants received free breast cancer screenings.

Organizers said the LadyGo charity run will continue to bring people together to support women's health and encourage girls to lead active, healthy lives.
