Back in October 2025, the country's first White Paper on AI Visual Creativity Applications (2025) was unveiled at the 2nd Longgang Global AI VACAT Awards, filling a void in systematic research on AI visual creativity applications in China. The 2026 edition has traveled from the Longgang competition venue to the World Artificial Intelligence Conference, and will make its full debut at the 3rd VACAT Awards.According to Luo Cheng, over 8,000 global submissions and a massive community of creators accumulated across the first two VACAT editions form a solid practical foundation for the white paper.

Findings from the VACAT Awards are showcased at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference(WAIC).
Jointly compiled by the competition's organizing committee and Lumier. AI, China's largest AIGC creator community, the document is China's first industry guide offering systematic insights into AI visual creativity applications. It comprehensively sorts out the industry’s development landscape, core bottlenecks and future trends, aiming to steer the sector from exploratory experimentation toward standardized, mature growth.
The white paper features extensive first-hand practical data, including comparison tables for mainstream AI video tools covering core areas such as functionality, enterprise applicability and cost performance, all repeatedly verified by professional film and television studios.
The VACAT Awards continuously supplies rich materials for the white paper, while the white paper in turn guides creators to craft higher-quality works. The two advance hand in hand in a mutually reinforcingupward spiral.

Calls for submissions to the 3rd 2026 Global AI VACAT Awards launch on July 10, with global entry channels available worldwide via Douyin.
Focusing entirely on artificial intelligence, the competition evolves its categories annually to match shifting AI media carriers, making the awards a pure chronological record of AI's evolving media forms. Longgang has built a fully native, AI-original awards platform.
