The Tong·Xing – 2026 Shenzhen International Economic and Trade Cooperation Tour (Europe Special) was held in Longgang, bringing together representatives from business associations, overseas Chinese chambers of commerce, and industrial and commercial institutions from 12 European countries and regions, including Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Ireland, Finland, and Spain. They joined local manufacturing enterprises and procurement agencies to explore new opportunities for industrial collaboration across smart manufacturing, new energy, medical devices, and cross-border supply chains.

At the event, 33 procurement orders and industrial cooperation demands from the European market were unveiled, totaling more than 2.3 billion yuan ($927.99 million). The orders mainly focus on medical devices, new energy storage and power equipment, electronic manufacturing and wireless communications, smart hardware and security systems, automotive parts and smart manufacturing support, as well as cold chain logistics and food supply chains. The Global Procurement Information Platform was also launched concurrently, covering cooperation models including equipment procurement, joint research and development, overseas channel cooperation, and supply chain coordination.

A signing ceremony for the memoranda of understanding on the International Economic and Trade Cooperation Plan was held on-site. The GTH International Service Station signed cooperation MoUs with representatives from the French Chamber of Commerce in Macao, the Italian Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises, the Nordic Shenzhen General Chamber of Commerce, and the Montpellier China-France Friendship Association. The Spanish Chinese Association participated in the signing via a live video link. Leveraging the outcomes of these signings, the GTH International Service Station will continue to connect Longgang-based enterprises with European market resources.

The Global Procurement Information Platform, operated by the Longgang GTH International Service Station, was launched during the event. Powered by GTH's overseas resource network and in collaboration with business associations, overseas Chinese organizations, and professional service agencies in key global regions, the platform continuously aggregates overseas market demand and project cooperation opportunities, enhancing the accuracy and connectivity of procurement leads.

In addition to cooperative institutional channels, the platform integrates procurement information from international organizations such as the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the United Nations Global Marketplace, as well as major government procurement platforms including EU TED, US SAM.gov, and the UK's Contracts Finder.

Following its launch, the platform will update global procurement demands daily, providing Longgang-based enterprises with services such as procurement opportunity searches, demand assessments, enterprise matching, and professional resource connections for certification compliance and supply chain support. It is positioned as a crucial window for Longgang enterprises to secure international orders, connect with overseas buyers, and tap into global supply chains.
