Longgang hosted an exclusive field visit based on the theme Discover the Longgang Robot Block at Galaxy World Park on June 25, as part of the 2026 APEC SMEs Business Forum.

Robots are engaged in a fierce soccer match.

The event gathered over 180 guests including government officials, entrepreneurs and scholars from APEC member economies, with more than 30 SME representatives and university researchers in attendance.

The delegation first visited the Robot Carnival featuring eight themed zones. The sports area hosted intense mech combat matches as a warm-up for the newly announced CMG World Robot Combat Tournament, which will settle its base in Longgang and become a global hub for robot combat enthusiasts.

Honor's humanoid robot is making its public debut.

Agile quadruped robots navigated various obstacles with ease. Long queues formed at the education zone's AI programming workshops and human-machine Gobang matches. The medical exoskeleton demonstration drew constant amazement: a Southeast Asian delegate lifted dozens of kilograms effortlessly after donning the gear, remarking that "science fiction has come true".

The debut of Honor's humanoid robot stole the spotlight. Most of its core components, including joint modules and sensors, are sourced from local Longgang enterprises, fully demonstrating the district's complete robot supply chain covering chips to end-use products.

The group then visited the world's first robot 6S store, newly equipped with robot leasing and customization services. In the outdoor exhibition zone, a piano-playing robot delivered smooth melodies with finger precision of 0.02 millimeters, a squad of mechs performed synchronized dances with movement errors under 0.1 seconds, and a kung fu robot executed a full set of Shaolin boxing routines flawlessly.

The indoor exhibition hall showcased humanoid robots capable of free movement and conversation, quadruped robots rolling and climbing stairs, and fire-fighting robots simulating fire suppression. Nearly 70 brands set up booths, presenting a full spectrum of robots ranging from household service models to industrial inspection units.

The Robot Boulevard displayed real-world scenarios where AI technologies are deeply integrated into urban production and daily life. At the Fadafu Legal Robot Experience Centre, AI legal advisors and holographic digital humans delivered accessible legal services. The Smart Wellness Hub showcased innovative elderly care solutions powered by exoskeleton devices and remote monitoring systems. The HarmonyOS Future Home by Huawei offered a glimpse of smart living with voice-controlled all-scenario home appliances that create a "thinking house".
