Shenzhen Cloud School has been named one of the "World's Top 10 Digital Education Innovation Cases" at the 2026 World Digital Education Conference in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, on May 12.

The school's "four-dimensional classroom" model – the only case focused on basic education among the 10 selected – was chosen from over 500 submissions worldwide. The model integrates artificial intelligence, 5G and cloud computing to create a teaching framework featuring lead instructors, assistant teachers, on-site coordinators and AI teaching assistants working collaboratively.

Over five years of implementation, the model has established a "1+N" school community connecting 27 primary and secondary schools across Shenzhen, directly serving over 10,000 students and 750 teachers. It enables synchronized lesson preparation and teaching across campuses, bringing high-quality educational resources to more students.

The top 10 cases, from countries and regions such as China, Singapore, Canada, Australia and the United States, were selected based on scene-driven innovation, proven effectiveness and replicability. Organizers said the Shenzhen case offers a practical paradigm for the global digital transformation of basic education.
