On October 28, the reconstructed The 2nd People’s Hospital of Longgang District, Shenzhen was put into operation. The Difficult Illness-Diagnoses Center (Longgang Branch), and the Doctoral and Famed Doctors’ Workstation, of The Seventh Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University, are stationed in the reconstruction.
It’s introduced that the reconstructed hospital covers an area of 21,800 square meters and boasts a floor area of 126,900 square meters. It consists of outpatient building, inpatient building, medical-tech building, sci-education building and other various funcitonal sections. With about 900 parking lots, the hospital is furnished with 500 more hospital beds. And, it’s equipped with a series of advanced medical apparatus.
The reconstructed hospital would serve the 1.5 million residents in Buji Sub-district, Jihua Sub-district and Bantian Sub-district, contributing to lifting the relatively-weak medical contidition. The hospital would strive to seek cooperation with The Seventh Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University and achieve self technical improvement.
