Qixi, the Chinese Valentine’s Day, is the seventh day of the seventh lunar month. According to the Chinese folklore, the weaver girl named Zhinv (织女, a female celestial) is allowed to meet her husband -- a cowherd named Niulang (牛郎, a mortal) on the Magpie Bridge (鹊桥) across the Milky Way once a year on the seventh evening of the seventh lunar month.
