As approved by Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, the former Shenzhen Institute of Information Technology, located in Longgang District, will operate as a university and be renamed Shenzhen University of Information Technology.
In 2025, the new university will have 5 vocational and undergraduate programs, involving software engineering technology, modern communication engineering, integrated circuit engineering technology, smart manufacturing engineering technology, and embedded technology.
