China’s import and export volume hit 32.33 trillion yuan during the first 3 quarters of 2024

At the news conference held by The State Council News Office of the People’s Republic of China on Oct. 14, Wang Lingjun -- the deputy administrator of China Customs introduced that China’s import and export volume, during the first 3 quarters of 2024, hit 32.33 trillion yuan, increased by 5.3% as compared with the last year. Specifically, China’s export volume, during the first 3 quarters of 2024, increased by 6.2% year on year to 18.62 trillion yuan, while the import volume increased by 4.1% year on year to 13.71 trillion yuan.
