On the afternoon of July 23, Longgang District Construction Industry Association of Shenzhen was founded, and the first general meeting took place. Over 60 representatives of Longgang District Housing and Development Bureau and the related units were present at the meeting.

It’s introduced that under the guidance of the authorities like People’s Government of Longgang District, Longgang District Housing and Development Bureau, Longgang District Civil Affairs Bureau, Shenzhen Construction Group took the lead and founded the Association together with 11 units including China Construction Eighth Engineering Division -- Shenzhen Scientific Innovation and Development Co., Ltd, and Shenzhen Construction Engineering -- South China Construction Co., Ltd. The Association aims at gathering the industry powers, regulating the market order, pushing industrial innovation and scientific development, strengthening talents’ cultivation and communication and improving the industry’s independent innovation capacity. It would try to attract more industry-leading and excellent enterprises to join it.

The founding of the Association marks a solid step that Longgang District takes in the construction industry’s development and collaboration. It is like an efficient bridge between the governmental departments and the enterprises, for boosting the industrial communication.

The first general meeting of Longgang District Construction Industry Association of Shenzhen, introduced the details about the founding of the Association, approved “Rules of Longgang District Construction Industry Association of Shenzhen” “Electoral Articles (Draft) for the First General Meeting of Longgang District Construction Industry Association of Shenzhen” , and publicized other relative documents. During the general meeting, the first batch of director, supervisor, vice-president, chief supervisor and president units were elected through vote. And, the representative of the first president unit of the Association’s board of directors, the representative of the first chief-supervisor unit of the Association’s first board of supervisors, and the relative chief of Longgang District Housing and Development Bureau, gave their speeches at the session.

Currently, Longgang District Construction Industry Association of Shenzhen now has 61 member units, including 17 director units and 3 supervisor units.
