The third Longgang pan-dramatic arts season and Shenzhen's inaugural AI and Robotics Pan-Dramatic Arts Festival opened at World COCO Park on Aug 21.

Merging live performance with artificial-intelligence technology, the event features Its Memory, China's first robot-assisted therapeutic theatrical work. Free public events will be rolled out across all 11 subdistricts of Longgang.

The first edition of the arts season in 2024 proved a huge hit with children.

Now in its third edition, the arts season has been delivering cultural shows and hands-on experiences across the city since 2024. Having earned its place as a beloved local cultural brand during its first two editions,the event builds on Longgang's innovation-led AI industry to explore new forms of community-oriented public cultural experiences.

Its Memory, as the season's opening production, was staged by human actors alongside MOYA homegrown AI robots, delving into profound questions at the intersection of AI and human emotion, memory, and warmth, presenting a pioneering dramatic work.
