As the renovation is completed, water-supply enterprises are responsible for the maintenance and management, and read the water meter individually for each household. Until now, the old water distribution systems have been renovated completely across Shenzhen.
For water supply facilities:

The project involves improving and renovating water pump rooms, water pools (tanks), water pumps and monitoring equipment in the 2,900 communities across Shenzhen. Now, the renovation has been completed over all districts in Shenzhen. After the renovation, water supply enterprises shall be responsible for maintaining and managing the communities’ water supply facilities. And, there will be effective improvement on the water quality and water pressure, further perfecting the city’s water supply service.
