Shenzhen is expected to finish the test on recyclable express box by the end of March

On March 26, the fourth round of test on recyclable express box began and would finish at the end of March. Then, after passing the test, recyclable express box would be put in use to a large extent in the industry of cross-border logistics.

Compared with common express box, recyclable express box is made of polyester, foam board and hollow board. One could be used for over 10 times. It’s more economical and advantageous in the manufacturing cost, freight, trash disposal abroad and many other fields.

And, Shenzhen’s related authority would initiate new customs formalities for those packaged in recyclable express box.

Wang Wei -- a deputy section chief of related authority, expressed that special customs declaration formalities would be applied for packages in green and recyclable express boxes. As the express boxes accumulate to a certain number, the recycle would be declared.
