Recently, according to the document released by General Office of Ministry of Education of PRC, Shenzhen Institute of Technology would be upgraded from a secondary vocational college to a state-owned higher vocational college, while being renamed Shenzhen City Vocational College, which means that Shenzhen would have one more public college. And, the upgrade has been registered with related authority. The new campus would be located at No.01, Road Jiangjunmao, Wulian Community, Longgang Sub-district, Longgang District of Shenzhen, PRC.
It’s known that Shenzhen Institute of Technology, founded in 1985 under the investment from The People’s Government of Shenzhen Municipality, covers an area of 555 mu (370,000 square meters). It has 13 faculties, proving 40 majors. It employs 801 full-time members of staff and accommodates about 11,000 students in school.
