Shenzhen offers 12,559,000 jobs and increases the urban jobs by 196,600, which breaks the historical record.

Shenzhen has ever offered about 800,000 positions and allocated 1.123 billion yuan for promoting entrepreneurship and employment. And, the city also gives support to talents from Hong Kong and Macao who are willing to work or start an undertaking in Shenzhen. It has set up 3 service platforms in Hong Kong for talents’ employment and entrepreneurship in Shenzhen. It has attracted 154 groups from Hong Kong to start up a career in Shenzhen. Successfully, Shenzhen held The Second National Conference on the Development of Human Resources Services and has introduced over 10 China and foreign industry-leading human resources service agencies.

Until now, another 156,700 people are attracted to settle in Shenzhen. Totally, the city has introduced over 24,000 senior talents, over 200,000 talents with overseas education, 5,302 post-doctoral researchers, 2428,800 talents specialized in a certain technical field, and 4,023,000 talents with a technical skill.

In 2024, Shenzhen would struggle to create over 30,000 new job positions and  185,000 new urban jobs. It plans to introduce over 30,000 senior technical talents and 2,000 post-doctoral researchers in the new year.
