The Shenzhen Longgang Global Investment Promotion Conference was held at the COLI Hotel Shenzhen on Nov. 25, attracting the attendance of over 300 leading companies and hidden champions. Zhang Liwei, Party chief of Longgang District, Wang Cefei, head of Longgang District and other government officials attended the conference.
The conference, held both online and offline, targeted key industries of Longgang. Zhejiang Dahua Technology Co., Shanghai Anlogic Infotech Co., State Power Investment Corporation Limited, and China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Corp. all joined the conference.
It showcased Longgang's excellent business environment in four aspects including innovation, development, industry and service, and attracted quality enterprises to settle down in the district.
Longgang is strong in industries and innovation. The district has formed three leading industries, information technology (IT), biotechnology (BT) and low-carbon industries, and four key industries, the construction industry, culture and innovation, cross-border e-commerce, and military and civilian integration.
At the conference, Longgang District signed up with a number of key industrial projects, covering strategic emerging industries including new-generation information technology, new energy, new material and biomedicine.
"Longgang District has a solid industrial foundation, a good innovative environment, an excellent business environment, and a beautiful ecological environment. The future of the district is one of prosperity," Zhang said in his speech.
Positioned as an innovation-driven district in eastern Shenzhen where industries grow sustainably and people live comfortably, Longgang spares no effort in implementing its "one core, two centers and multiple pillars" development strategy.
Longgang District has been topping the list of the top 100 industrial districts in China for five consecutive years, and has been ranking among the top 10 economic districts in China for six consecutive years.
Currently the district is home to one enterprise valued at 100 billion yuan, four enterprises valued at 10 billion yuan, and 500 specialized and sophisticated enterprises that produce new and unique products. It has cultivated renowned enterprises including Huawei and BYD.
