Shenzhen has made further progress in optimizing real estate registration by rolling out a series of reform measures to provide more convenient services, Shenzhen Economic Daily reported yesterday.

The Shenzhen Municipal Public Security Bureau Longgang Subbureau recently received a real estate ownership certificate soon after it had acquired the right to use State-owned land, which marked the first "certificate upon land handover" project completed by the Shenzhen Real Estate Registration Center Longgang Office this year.

The "certificate upon land handover" measure is expected to effectively reduce land users' time, labor and capital costs. Previously, it might take days for land users to receive the certificate after being entitled to use a State-owned land parcel.

The city first launched the reform measure in December 2021, when the Guangming District Government received the real estate ownership certificate issued by the Shenzhen Real Estate Registration Center Guangming Office within one hour after going through land handover procedures.

Similarly, the center has also introduced the "certificate upon house handover" measure, which not only simplifies homebuyers' certificate handling procedures, but also facilitates homeowners to handle property-related matters, such as residence registration, children's school admission and mortgage.

The center also launched an online system for visual searches via an electronic map to assist enterprises and citizens in inquiring about real estate registration information. Residents can also locate and inquire about a property through keywords on the system.
