Nearly 3,200 flower stalls will be available in 74 subdistricts across the city for citizens to buy flowers for Chinese New Year decorations as the annual Spring Festival Flower Fair was canceled this year to reduce mass gatherings.
The stalls are to be located in the city's seven flower markets, flower shops and temporary sites set up for citizens to buy flowers.
Several places where residents can find flower stalls include Bagualing Flower World and Futian wholesale produce market in Meilin Subdistrict in Futian, Vicity at Taining road in Luohu, Dutch Flower Town in Nantou Subdistrict and Shengang flower center in Xili in Nanshan, southern square of the central park at Haijing No. 2 road in Yantian, Fuzhongfu flower world in Xin'an Subdistrict in Bao'an, Gongyuan road in Longhua Subdistrict in Longhua, and Maxland shopping mall in Guangming.
There are a total of 59 temporary sites having over 20 flower stalls in the city, according to the urban management authority.
The temporary flower sites will all open before Feb. 4 and close after Feb. 11. All will be closed before Feb. 27, according to the authority.
According to the list of flower stalls, 574 are in Futian District, 422 are in Luohu, 452 in Nanshan, 120 in Yantian, 442 in Bao'an, 661 in Longgang, 133 in Pingshan, 184 in Longhua, 145 in Guangming and 60 in Dapeng.
