Asian Pastry Young Chef Challenge 2023 would begin at August 19, at Venue Ⅴ of Shenzhen (Futian) Convention & Exhibition Center.
Asian Pastry Young Chef Challenge 2023, guided by Shenzhen Tourism Association, is hosted under Shenzhen International Baking Exhibition & International Food & Beverage Expo, by Jiyi (Shenzhen) Cultural Planning Co., Ltd.
2023 welcomes the first Asian Pastry Young Chef Challenge. Laying emphasis on the three factors -- “Asian” “Young” and “Baking”, the challenge would show to the world Asian young chefs’ excellent baking skills and innovative competency, to promote the further development of the industry, to spread baking culture, and to make more people realize the importance of cherishing food, protecting environment and guaranteeing food safety.
As the host introduced, Asian Pastry Young Chef Challenge has authenticated by World Association of Chef Societies, being the Second in China and the first in Shenzhen in baking industry authenticated by World Association of Chef Societies.
World Association of Chef Societies was founded in 1928 in Paris. It shares world-class authority, aiming at promoting the inheritance and development of cooking skills and providing chefs with professional education, training and credential certification.
World Association of Chef Societies would always go with a strict mechanism as authenticating a competition. As a competition authenticated by it, it means that the competition would be acknowledged in the worldwide industry as a specialized competition of high professional level.
Kenny Kong, Asian Chairman of World Association of Chef Societies and the judge-general of Asian Pastry Young Chef Challenge 2023, expresses that it is of profound significance as Asian Pastry Young Chef Challenge 2023 is to be held in Shenzhen. As the first international-grade professional baking competition in Shenzhen, Asian Pastry Young Chef Challenge 2023 faces to Asia, even to the whole world.
