Culture and Entertainment | China’s First Dance Drama on the Subject of AI Gets Born in Shenzhen (Mar. 03-Apr. 02)

From March 30 to April 02,, Shenzhen’s contemporary dance drama -- AI in Love ( Chinese name: 深AI 你 (Shen AI Ni)), which is the first to tell about “AI (artificial intelligence)” subject in China, shall be performed in Bay Opera of Shenzhen. During the four days, six performances shall be given. After that, the modern dance drama on the subject of AI will be performed in Chinese cities as Foshan, Nanjing, Chongqing, Shanghai.

The dance drama tells a story happens between the hero losing his relatives at a very young age and the AI robot, and shows that a mature robot can offer human beings emotional values and may suffer from ethical problems in the future. 

The dance drama, with the performance elements from Hip-Hop and modern dance, the pleasant and moving music background, the cool and calm scenery, and the clothing and modeling characterized with geometric elements, is a visual banquet which shows contemporary human being’s imagination about the future, introduced by the general director -- Tong Ruirui. 

The dance drama is the first in China to explore the relationship between human beings and AI on stage. For the future of AI, the dance drama gives an opening ending.
