Shenzhen Global Investment Promotion Conference Held in Shenzhen on Dec. 08

On December 08, Shenzhen Global Investment Promotion Conference is held at Shenzhen International Convention & Exhibition Center. The theme of this Conference is to “ create new paradigms and embrace shared opportunities -- to invest in Shenzhen and build a winning future”.

The Conference is hosted by People’s Government of Shenzhen Municipality and organized by Commerce Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality, News Office of Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government, Foreign Affairs Office of Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government and Bao’an District People’s Government. Meng Fanli -- the secretary of Shenzhen Committee of CPC attends the Conference and addresses. Qin Weizhong -- the mayor of Shenzhen Municipality presides at the Conference. Luo Wenzhi -- the director of the Standing Committee of Shenzhen Municipal People’s Congress and Lin Jie -- the chairman of Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the Chinese People Political Consultative Conference, as well as other leaders including Tao Yongxin, Zheng Hongbo, Zhang Liwei, Wang Shourui, are present at the Conference.

It is introduced that Shenzhen Global Investment Promotion Conference (2023) is the ever-largest one, as compared with the former four. It mainly introduces the investment promotion results of different districts and departments in Shenzhen. It shows Shenzhen’s new and high-quality social and economic development and the international first-grade business environment in Shenzhen.

1 theme event, 1 investment promotion achievements exhibition, 12 district-hosting investment promotion conferences are held. 12 investment promotion activities covering the industries as energy conservation, digital creation, new and high technology, are held. Meanwhile, 10 events are held at overseas venues in Madrid, Zurich, Hawaii, Vancouver and many other cities.

During the Conference, over 1,000 guests from America, Japan, EU and many other nations and regions gather in Shenzhen. Over 380 agreements are signed, with the investment being over 1 trillion yuan in total. A certain number of headquarters branches under transnational companies, excellent investment attraction parks and many other outstanding corporations are inaugurated. Some entrepreneur representatives give their speeches and share their precious experiences at the Conference. Besides, Shenzhen’s some investment policies are also publicized, to get the world know more about Shenzhen’s business environment and Shenzhen’s breakthroughs in investment promotion.

At the Conference, Longgang District People’s Government reaches agreements with many excellent partners, including CATL, China State Construction Hailong Technology Company Limited -- Hong Kong Branch, Dassault System, Zongteng Group. And, CECEP (China Energy Conservation and Environment Protection Group) is evaluated as an excellent enterprise located in Longgang District.
