In the first quarter of this year, Guangdong Province in South China recorded a total import and export volume of 2.14 trillion yuan, which surged by 4.2% from the first quarter of last year, 2.9% higher than the nation’s average. Specifically, the exports stood at 1.34 trillion yuan, up 1.4% year on year, while the imports reached 798.15 billion yuan, up 9.3% year on year.
