China’s goods imports and exports expanded by 1.3% year on year in the first quarter of this year, to 10.3 trillion yuan, according to the related authorities of the nation.
Specifically, the exports rose faster year on year by 6.9%, to 6.13 trillion yuan, during the same period, while the imports fell by 6% year on year to 4.17 trillion yuan.
On a monthly basis, the nation’s imports and exports represented an accelerating year-on-year growth, being -2.2% in January, basically-flat in February and 6% in March.
