The 15th National Games of the PRC is the largest, highest-level and influential comprehensive sports games of the nation. It would be held in Guangdong Province, Hong Kong and Macao, from November 09-21, 2025.
The 15th National Games is a significant session as it is hosted cooperatively by Guangdong Province, Hong Kong and Macao. The hosting of the Games means a great deal to promote the cooperation and coordination in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), and in an innovative way it showcases to the world the merits of China’s “one country, two systems” policy and the new achievements of Chinese modernization.
The Games follows the idea of “being green, shared, open and honest”, with the slogan being “lighting up the Games in vibrant GBA”. The emblem of the Games is the three petals overlapping each other in a circle, meaning that Guangdong Province, Hong Kong and Macao join hands with each other and blossom vibrantly. The mascots of the Games named “Xiyangyang” and “Lerongrong” which mean joy and happiness, are originated from Chinese white dolphin -- a species of the national first-class protected animal.
