Shenzhen would host the 15th National Games, as well as the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 9th National Special Olympic Games of the PRC, at Bao’an Joy Theatre of Shenzhen, respectively on November 21 and December 15. And, 25 sports programmes of the Games would happen in the city.

89 events of 12 competitive sports (accounting for 25% of the total held in Guangdong Province)
52 events of 7 recreational sports (accounting for 34% of the total held in Guangdong Province)
Of The 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 9th National Special Olympic Games, the PRC:
355 events of 4 summer paralympic and deaflympic sports (accounting for 19% of the total held in Guangdong Province)
29 events of 2 recreational sports (accounting for 20% of the total held in Guangdong Province)
Besides, Shenzhen plans 21 test events.
