From December 09 to 14, the swimming events at the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 9th National Special Olympic Games of the PRC were held at the natatorium of Shenzhen Universiade Center, in Longgang District of Shenzhen.
During the 6 competition days, 368 athletes of 30 delegation teams across the nation took part in the swimming events. Eventually, a total of 200 golds were awarded, and 40 national records, as well as a world record, were broken.
