On November 01, men’s U-20 football at the 15th National Games of the PRC came to the final stage, at Shenzhen Sports Center Stadium (which is located in Futian District of Shenzhen), Shenzhen Bao’an Sports Center Stadium (which is located in Bao’an District of Shenzhen), Shenzhen Universiade Center Stadium (which is located in Longgang District of Shenzhen) and Shenzhen Youth Football Training Base (which is located in Guangming District of Shenzhen). 13 teams from different places of the nation (including Macao) began to play in 4 groups. Accordingly, the top two teams in each group which gained the best results during the group stage should be promoted to the top 8 rankings, while the other teams in each group should be placed among the 9th -13th rankings. Guangdong Team, Guangxi Team and Liaoning Team were classified into group A; Hubei Team, Yunan Team and Hebei Team into group B; Shanghai Team, Sichuan Team, Fujian Team and Macao Team into group C; and Shandong Team, Zhejiang Team and Xinjiang Team into group D. According to the schedule, the group stage of men’s U-20 football which occurred in single round-robin terminated on November 05, then the qualifying and ranking-placement stage begun on November 07, and the last final took place on November 12.
