On November 08, the women’s U-22 basketball event at the 15th National Games of the PRC commenced.
12 teams across the nation took part in the event. From November 08-12, the event was in the group stage, with the 12 teams being allocated into 3 groups and playing in round robin style. Then, the event came to the knockout stage, and the last standing came out on November 16.

Totally, the women’s U-22 basketball event consisted of 36 units. 24 of them were held at Shenzhen Universiade Center Gym in Longgang District of Shenzhen, and the other units, including the final, were held at Shenzhen Bay Sports Center Gym in Nanshan District of Shenzhen.
