On the morning of 7 Jun. 2023, The 19th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair opens. The Fair will last for five days. It is the fourteen time that 31 provinces in mainland China, together with Hong Kong, Maocao and Taiwan of China, all take part in China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair. Besides, 50 nations and regions, including France, Germany, Poland, Norway, England, also take part in the Fair, with more than 300 overseas exhibitors. The 19th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair will show the newest achievements and the latest development trend of world cultural industries.

Since founded in Shenzhen in 2004, China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair keeps persisted in its original principle and struggles to make innovation, continuously improving its market capacity, international influence and professional strength. It has become a fair of the highest standard, largest scale, largest effects and largest influence among the cultural industries of China.

The 19th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair is organized by Publicity Department of CPC (National News and Publication Administration of PRC, National Copyright Administration of PRC, China Film Administration of PRC), Ministry of Culture and Tourism of PRC, Ministry of Commerce of PRC, National Radio Television Administration of PRC, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, People’s Government of Guangdong Province and People’s Government of Shenzhen Municipality. And, Ministry of Culture and Tourism organizes the Fair in rotation.

The Fair sets up its main venue and branch venues, mainly having three major sections -- offline exhibition and trade, online exhibition and exchange, and supporting events. About 20,000 overseas audiences from 100 nations and regions are invited to visit the Fair online and offline.

Among Shenzhen, there are over 60 branch venues, which hold more than 400 exhibition and trading activities. The online Fair utilizes VR panorama technology to model offline exhibition hall and combines offline and online cultural industry resources. More than 6,000 exhibitors have been attracted, reaching the best condition before the outbreak of the pandemic.

What is more, The 19th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair sets up digitized exhibition zone. Enterprises specialized in the technologies as 5G, big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence(AI), are organized to take part in the Fair. Around the theme “Digitized China·Cultural Innovation -- The Cultural Innovation in AI Age”, it has four sections, including “Opening the door for digitized culture” “Inheriting digitized culture” “Making innovation in digitized culture” and “Creating age of digitized civilization”. Through the four sections, the digitized exhibition hall shows in all dimension cultural industries’ latest technologies, latest innovation and latest achievements, fully reflecting the role of cultural integration, cultural leadership and cultural empowerment.

The Fair also launches digitized cultural and creative products. With “Wenpeng” Small Drop as the mascot, The 19th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair launches 1,000 digitized blind boxes based on the image of the mascot in Peking Opera costume and make-up, which would play an important role to the Fair’s firstly-issued digitized ticket. It would be a new digitized card of China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair.  

While holding different events to promote trade, the Fair also makes innovation in the function of trade. It cooperates with e-commerce platforms and launches “Consumption Season of ICIF”, holds online and offline art auctions, and organizes “Helping Exhibitors Expand Market” “Fair in Live Broadcast” and many other events together with new media platforms to promote trade.
